NEWPORT - Lydia Mae Rogers, 94 of Newport, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a retired sales clerk for Sears. A member of Highland Hills Baptist Church, she is preceded in death by Husband George L Rogers and daughter Joan Moore. She is survived by 3 daughters; Kathie R. Bettler, Richmond, Ky; Mary J. Lang, Newport, Ky, and Kimberly J. Carius, Highland Heights, Ky. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 pm Friday, February 5, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel, Southgate, Ky. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
