Barbara, Irene, Dennis, Jessie, and Judy: My heart was saddened to hear of Audney's passing. I've loved your Mom and Dad dearly since we first met; such pleasant and loving people. Your Dad seemed to have a glow about him, and though he would preach the simple message of salvation to the sinner, it was with such bold anointing and power of God. It was a great honor to to be in church with them, and I was blessed with many opportunities to do so. Your Mother was a light to so many people and was a wonderful example of character as a minister's wife. I know you all will miss her, and yet there is peace in knowing that she is home now and safe in the presence of the Lord, and finally reunited with her dear husband. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are sent your way ! Brother and Sister Hensley have been such a positive role model in my years of youth and still remain today. Thank you Hensley family for always being a vital part of my being and belief's. As hard as this must be it's a blessing that in your heart of heart's you have no doubt that your Mommy is walking hand in hand with those who have left us earlier in time. Not all people have such a reward while still on this earth as that when you know that your Mommy went to Heaven and there is no doubt at all that Sister Hensley lite things up with her beautiful smile, soft voice, and love for all. Hensley family ,when I heard the news, my heart was heavy however know this for Sister Hensley it was," Homecoming in Heaven"! I remember growing up on Third street in newport and being good friends with the Hensley family, esp. Judy. I would go up to her house alot of times and we would just sit outside on the porch and I remember like it was yesterday, talking to her mom and dad and they were the sweetest people there were. I was even invited to go to church with them once and really enjoyed myself. I am so sorry for your loss but like myself, there are hundreds of us that have fond memories of your mom (and dad) so they will never be forgotten. God bless you in this trying time. Sister Hensley, I've enjoyed the times I've gotten to speak with you. I enjoyed your testimony of faith. And have always known you to be a prayer warrior. I know you loved the Lord and that you will rejoice in his presence. You have reached your home in the celestial kingdom of our God and Father. Your life was a light that everyone could follow to the Savior. And may you be blessed in the eternity of your righteousness, having washed your robes in the sacred and most precious blood of the Lamb. I am So sorry for the loss of Sister Henlsey to her family.
