Obituary of Betty Jane Thurman

Betty Jane Bowling Thurman, 79, of Covington, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a former packer with Wadsworth Electric Co., Covington, and a member of Madison Avenue Christian Church, Covington. Her husband, William Earl Thurman Sr., died in 1996.
Survivors include a son, William E. Thurman Jr. of Covington; brothers, Robert Lee Bowling of Dry Ridge and Forest Bowling of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Viola Brann of Florence and Ruby Bingham of Palm Springs, Calif.; a granddaughter, a great-grandson and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Gardnersville Cemetery.
