Obituary of Carol Brown

INDEPENDENCE - Carol B. Hunt Brown, age 68, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at her residence. She was a retired seamstress for the Ancra Co. Mrs Brown had a great love for her family and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She is survived by her husband, James R. Brown, Sr. of Independence; (2) sons, James R. Brown, Jr. and Timothy L. Brown both of Independence; (3) sisters, Helen Reed of Alexandria, KY, Virginia Larson of Portsmouth, IN, and Charlotte Thompson of Burlington, KY; (2) brothers, Robert Hunt of Independence and Thomas Hunt of Covington; (7) grandchildren; and (1) great grandchild.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday,December 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday at Independence Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Cecilia Church at 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
