INDEPENDENCE - Catherine Mary Broghamer Kunkel, 92 passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at her home. She was a 4H Volunteer, Member of Kenton Co. Homemakers Club, dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, played basketball for St. Joseph High School and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Independence. Her husband Robert A. Kunkel preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 daughters Cathy Kunkel-Mains of Morning View, Jane Kunkel Bush of Walton, Gloria Kunkel Simpson of Crittenden; 3 sons, Robert L. Kunkel of Dry Ridge, Richard L. Kunkel of Walton, Paul A. Kunkel of Bedford; 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 11 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery.
