MORNING VIEW - Alden "Bud" Mobley, 77, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired welder for Keco Industries, a US Army Korean War Veteran who enjoyed watching UK sports and Nascar racing. Preceded in death by son Joe David Mobley in 2003. Survived by wife Betty Mobley, daughter, Lois Jean Ferguson, Fairborn, Oh., 3 sons, Charles Alden Mobley, Piqua, Oh., Bobby Mobley, Crittenden, Ky., Jeffery Lee Mobley, Taylor Mill, Ky., sister Ruth Walker, Louisville, Ky. 9 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2009 12-2 pm at Chambers & Grubbs Independence with the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will take place in Independence Cemetery.
