Obituary of Everett Mains

DRY RIDGE - Everett Lee "Eddie" Mains, age 83, (formerly of Walton & Erlanger), died Friday, November 27, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a retired Teamster of Local #100 and a volunteer driver for Senior Services of Northern Kentucky. Mr. Mains was also an Army Veteran of WWII who loved to fish, play cards, work puzzles & reading western books. He was preceded in death by his son Greggory Mains in 2001. Survivors include his wife, Natalie Mains of Dry Ridge, (2) sons, Steven and Keith Mains of Florence; (4) daughters, Le Etta Jasper of Cincinnati, Piper Turner of Jacksonville, FL, and Kathy and Melody Mains of Florence, KY; (2) step-sons, David Thomas of Plainfield, IN and James Thomas of Indianapolis, IN; (22) grandchildren; and (25) great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs in Walton. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Interment with military honors will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Walton Senior Center, 44 North Main St., Walton, KY 41094.
