Obituary of Gary Lykins

TAYLOR MILL - Gary Lykins, age 61, died Monday, October 26, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a self-employed electrician, a U.S. Army Veteran, and was formerly active as a coach and volunteer for Taylor Mill Boosters. He was preceded in death by wives, Sandy Lykins and Vicky Lykins. Survivors include: sons, Aaron Lykins of Covington and Jason Lykins of Taylor Mill; sisters, Shirley Brewer of Cincinnati and Phyllis Gravitt of Hendrix, TN; brothers, Ray Lykins of Homossa, FL and Eddie Lykins of Cheviot, OH; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Ocotber 30, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
