INDEPENDENCE - Geneva "Jean" Perry, age 78, of Independence, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a cafeteria worker for Kenton County Schools, a member of the Independence Lions Club, a former Fire District Board Member and enjoyed bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Perry, in 2009. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Ford of Union, KY; 3 sons, Ronald Perry of Independence, KY; John Perry of Alamogordo, NM; and Donald Perry of Morning View, KY; a sister, Wanda Chipman of Florence, KY. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6 to 9 at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Her funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
