Dear Ones, How sorry I am to hear of the death of your beautiful Mother and Grandmother. The first time I saw her was in the Florence Elementary Gym, during a ball game in 1948. She was so beautiful. I remember she had long golden hair and wore a pale blue sweater and dark skirt. She certainly stood out in the crowd. Through the years, I remember her and your Dad as friendly, loving and caring friends. They were a joy to meet and "catch up" on all the goings on in each family. I will miss her. Know, too, that I will keep all of you in my prayers as you deal with this most difficult time in your lives. You are loved. Love & Blessings,Margaret Goley

Marilyn, Sheila, Linda, Sandra: We were all sad to hear that your sweet, wonderful mother had passed away. She was truly a "second" mom to Greg through the years and we will always have fond memories of her. One of life's hardest burdens is losing your Mom. Be a comfort to each other. Love and Hugs, Joyce Parman

Dear Marilyn, Sheila, Linda, Sandra, and extended family members. I am so, so, sorry for your loss. June was like a second mother to me. Sharon just notified me on Tuesday evening or I would have been there. She always had a sweet spirit and really treated me so well, as your dad did also. I don't know what to say, other that I LOVE YOUR FAMILY and I believe that God loves this ANGEL and has a very special place for her !! I pray for all of you and love you much. Warmest regards, Greg Parman

June was indeed a great lady who was a great pleasure to be around. I live at 6542 Balcomie Court and the very first association meeting that I attended prior to even moving into the community, she came over and sat by me introduced herself and began to tell me all of the wonderful things aboutour community. She made me feel so welcome and part of the community even prior to moving. I shall miss her but know that suh a fine lady is in a much better place. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for the family. In Sympathy Brenda Sorrell

I was so saddened to hear of the family's loss of such a beautiful and gracious lady. I remember June and Jerry at Hopeful, standing together in faith, an example of all to follow; I am sure the church is mourning the loss as well. You know, to say Jerry without June or June without Jerry, just didn't roll off the tongue well at all. Comfort is found in their example of a husband and wife; and parents whose legacy will last far beyond our simple comprehension and lifetime. God blessed us with June and Jerry, if only for this short span of time. God keep you all safe and in peace. Love, Gin-Nie Tanner Smith 6184 Hickory Creek Road High Point NC 27263 ssmith9780@aol.com

We extend our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your Mom. We both were privileged to have worked with her at General Building & Loan back in the 60's. She was always speaking fondly about all her girls, and I also enjoyed working with Marilyn and Linda in later years. June was a beautiful person, very outgoing and friendly to everyone she met. We know how much you will miss her. Our prayers are with you. ....Ron & Ruth

Marilyn, Sheila, Linda, Sandra*************** I worked with your mother at the age of 17. It seems like yesterday but it has been 43 years. Your mom was my mentor and taught me the business. I remember when you girls would come to the office and what a smile it would bring to her face. June invited me back to her house to dress for our Christmas party, I did not have a car at that time. I always admired her, working with four children. Bless all of your. I know she is really missed. She left quite a impression on alot of people. Phyllis Rennekamp
