Obituary of Paul Dahms

WALTON - Paul E. Dahms, Sr., age 66, died Thursday, July 23 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired truck driver for Averitt Trucking and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Dahms was also a member of Heritage Fellowship Church in Florence, Ralph Fulton VFW Post in Elsmere, was a mechanic for several years at various auto repair stations and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Susan Dahms of Walton; (3) sons, Paul Dahms and Anthony Dahms of Florence, and Jason Dahms of London, KY; daughter, Theresa Wanser of Springtown, TX; mother, Ruth Dahms of Latonia; and (3) grandchildren. A gathering of friends will be held Saturday from 11 to 1 p.m. at Heritage Fellowship Church at 7216 US Highway 42, Florence, KY 41042-1902. His memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at the church.
