Obituary of Glenn Jones

UNION - Glenn E. Jones, age 72, died Saturday, July 11, at his residence. He was a retired supervisor for Williamson Heating & Cooling and an U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Jones also was a member of Big Bone Baptist Church, where he had served as Sunday School Superintendent, church clerk, treasurer, and deacon. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Ransdell Jones; (2) sons, Mark Jones of Florence and Keith Jones of Burlington; (2) sisters, Dorothy Williamson and Phyllis Ransdell both of Florence; and (3) grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, from 10 to 12 noon at Big Bone Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon at the church. Interment will be at Big Bone Church Cemetery.
