Obituary of Ruford Tyree

INDEPENDENCE- Ruford Tyree, 91, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He was a retired shipping clerk from the 3M Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Independence. Survivors include his wife, Viola Tyree; a son, Danny H. Tyree of Independence; a daughter, Peggy S. Miller of Covington; a sister, Della Tirey of Latonia; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Independence, 11659 Madison Pike, Independence, Ky. 41051.
