VERONA - James "Todd" Ryan, 50, died Wednesday, April 15, at his home. He was a farmer, member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Verona Fire & EMS serving as a firefighter, secretary and board of directors for the Verona Fire District, owner of Ryan Field in Verona, member of the Agriculture Development Board and the Conservatory Board of Boone County. Survivors include his wife, Lee Anne Acree Ryan; son, Nicholas Ryan of Verona; daughters, Lacey Kilchenman of Louisville and Misty Ryan of Verona; parents, Walt and Jan Ryan of Verona; and brother, Greg Ryan of Olive Branch, Miss.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Saturday, April 18, with service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19 at New Baptist Bethel Church. Burial will be in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
