James Ensel Meece, 68, of Glencoe, died Sunday at his residence. He was a retired mill worker from Dyke Industries, Erlanger. Survivors include his wife, Alice Fay Goerler Meece; sons, James Allen Meece of Walton and John Ensel Meece of Independence; a daughter, Deborah Jean Meece of Glencoe; a brother, Jarvis Darrell Meece of Morning View; and one grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
