Obituary of Anna Mae Strause

Anna Mae Strause, 72, of Independence, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a former factory worker with Levi Strauss. Her husband, Wilbur Lee Strause, and a son, Randall Ray Strause, both preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Danny Strause of Independence, Michael Strause of Covington and William Strause of Killeen, Texas; brother, William Northcutt of Garden City, Mich., Eugene Northcutt of Greenfield, Ind., and Jerry Northcutt of Crittenden; a sister, Charlotte Morphew of Burlington; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
