Obituary of Vernon Petrey Bailey

Vernon "Pee Wee" Petrey Bailey, 68, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired machine repairman from the Ford Motor Co., and a member of United Auto Workers No. 863 and Masonic Lodge, Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Coline Bailey; a daughter, Leslie Bailey Hutcheson of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Larry Bailey of Fayetteville, Ohio; a sister, Joyce Wooten of North Carolina; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Suite 2A, Florence, Ky. 41042.
