Obituary of Goldie Osborne

DRY RIDGE - Goldie E. Osborne, 97, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at her residence. She was a photo developer and a Kentucky Colonel who enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing.Her son, Ewing Lenear Releford, died previously. Survivors include her husband, Hugh Osborne of Dry Ridge; daughter, Madge Wallace of Waynesburg, Ky.; sisters, Ruth Barchus of Williamstown, Velma Phillippe of Stanford, Ky., and Hazel Fight of Kings Mountain, Ky; brother, Hubert Robertson of Waynesburg, Ky; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, with services following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. A second visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Ky. Burial will be in K.P. Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
