Obituary of Matthew Tjarks

EDGEWOOD - Matthew Ray Tjarks, 29, died Friday, Jan. 30. He was a landscaper and carpenter, a member of Grace Evangelical Church in St. Joseph, Mo., attended Seven Hills Church in Florence and enjoyed landscaping and carpentry. He is survived by his mother Brenda Ann Tjarks of Independence; father Daniel William Tjarks of Northport, Ala.; and sisters Tonya Michelle Borgatti of Independence, and Jaime Nichole Tjarks of Villa Hills.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Seven Hills Church in Florence, with service following. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
