Harold Albert Baumgartner, 85, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired farmer, optician, and mail carrier, and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. A daughter, Janet Carol Baumgartner, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Baumgartner; sons, David H. Baumgartner of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mark P. Baumgartner of Florence, and Charles J. Baumgartner of Dry Ridge; daughters, Dora M. Fry of Erlanger, Sandra L. Arnold and Pamela E. Ryan, both of Independence, and Deborah A. Oldiges of Florence; a brother, Albert L. Baumgartner of Walton; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Richwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
