Obituary of Nancy Pearl Carlisle

INDEPENDENCE - Nancy "Pearl" Russell Carlisle, 93, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. She was a city clerk for Independence, member of Independence Christian Church and the Irish Rovers. Her husband, John Carlisle, died previously. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Willinborg of Demossville; sons, Tom Carlisle of Gallup, N.M., Bob Carlisle of Morning View and John Carlisle of Bronson, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, and service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
