Obituary of Marshall Hankinson

Marshall Aylor Hankinson, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 30 at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was a union roofer with the Local Union #42 who enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing and watching U.K. basketball. His wife Margie Hankinson died previously. He is survived by sons Marshall Donald Hankinson of Independence, Glen Aylor Hankinson of Dry Ridge, and Terry Wayne Hankinson of Walton; a Kirby of Burlington; four grandchildren, tensister, Genevie great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be from 11 a.mm.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, with services following. Burial will be at Belleview Cemetery.
