Obituary of Ronald S. Alford

Ronald S. Alford, 66, of Independence, died Saturday at Woodcrest Manor, Erlanger. He was a former mechanic with Settle Service and a deacon and choir director with Northern Kentucky Baptist Church, Lakeside Park. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Doris Finney Alford; a son, David Alford of Florence; daughters, Pam Foy of Selma, N.C., and Patty Bracken of Union; a sister, Phyllis Jeffries of Loveland, Ohio; a brother, Frank Alford of Goshen, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Northern Kentucky Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Northern Kentucky Baptist Church Building Fund, 2681 Turkeyfoot Road, Lakeside Park, Ky. 41017.
