Charles Clinkenbeard, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 28, at his home in Kenton County.

He was a truck driver for Webster Trucking.
His wife, Virginia Wilson Clinkenbeard, died in 1987.
Survivors include his sisters, Martha Bowling, Margie Fisk and Jane Hembree; brothers, Edward "Boo" and Jim Clinkenbeard.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 2, with service following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.
