Obituary of Levi McClure

Levi "Buzz" McClure, 79, died Saturday, July 19, at his home. He was a retired electrician with Proctor and Gamble, Army veteran in Korean War, member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and American Legion Post # 275, loved fishing, traveling, yard work and tinkering on small engines. Survivors include his wife, Gayle McClure; daughter, Becky Lohmoeller; son, David "Mike" McClure; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence. Memorials: Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042 or American Legion Post #275, P.O. Box 36, Independence, KY 41051.
