Obituary of Goldie Gertrude Frakes

Gertie Frakes, 86, of Independence, died Friday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Nicholson Christian Church. Her husband, Edward Frakes, died in 1976.
Survivors include a son, Rick Frakes of Independence; a daughter, Joan Rouse of Independence; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
