Obituary of Mildred Josephine Folmer

Mildred Josephine Kessler Folmer, 94, of Independence, died Tuesday at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Church, Independence. Her husband, John Folmer, died in 1967. Survivors include daughters, Judy Heeger of Independence, Millie Schmaide of Morning View and Norma Coots of Independence; a sister, Norma Kuckle of Venice, Fla.; a brother, Edward Kessler of Mesa, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Cecilia Church. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Independence.
