Obituary of Polly Jane Hayes

Polly Jane Foster Hayes, 95, of Fort Mitchell, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a former employee of Kay's and Exquisite laundries, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Independence. Her husband, William B. Hayes, died in 1988.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Claypool of Fort Mitchell; a son, James Hayes of Dry Ridge; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, 11659 Madison Pike, Independence, Ky. 41051.
