Obituary of Ruth Rekers

Ruth R. Rekers, 85, died Sunday March 30 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.
She was a manager of Accent Music with American Federation of Musicians and member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence.
He first husband, Maurice Rekers, died in 1980; second husband, Don Tangney, died in 2003; daughter, Nancy Bahr, died in 2004; and granddaughter, Stephanie Bahr, died in 1999.
Survivors include her grandsons, Steve and Scott Bahr; granddaughter, Sheila Young; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday April 8 with service following at Community Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Chambers and Grubbs, Independence, is handling arrangements.
