David Estes, 74, died Friday, Feb. 29 at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a retired deputy sheriff for Kenton County Sheriff's Department, member of St. Henry Church, Elsmere, played Santa Claus at different organizations during the holidays, and was involved with the Shop with a Cop program with the Elsmere-Erlanger Fraternal Order of Police.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Book Estes; sons, Jeffrey D., Andrew D., Robert L. and Daniel C. Estes; daughters, Cynthia Ann Gosney and Mary Michelle Winans; sister, Donna Lindsey; and seven grandchildren.
isitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Mar. 4 at St. Henry Church, Elsmere, with services following. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger. Condolences can be sent online at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
