Obituary of Jo Ann Ravenscraft

JoAnn Sharp Ravenscraft, age 69, of Orlando, formerly of Grant County, KY, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL. She was formerly an Accounts Officer for Burns Brother Trucking, worked at DOXOL Gas in Ludlow, Kentucky, and retired from Orange County Schools in Florida. JoAnn was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Orlando, FL and was attending Monterey Baptist Church in Orlando. She enjoyed traveling and was the former President of the American Legion Post in Erlanger, KY. Her husband, William Ravenscraft; and parents, Paul and Glada Sharp preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, William Paul Jackson of Orlando. Visitation will Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge. Memorials may be made to any Local Wounded Warrior program, the Florida Hospital Transplant Center at 2415 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804, or Monterey Baptist Church, 5401 Curry Ford Rd Orlando, FL 32812.
