Obituary of Betty Palmer

Betty Jean Martin Palmer, 82, of Morning View, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker, attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for and feeding her children and all the neighborhood kids. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Eugene Palmer. Survivors include sons Gary (Sandy) Palmer of Crittenden, James Palmer of Morning View, Gerald (Vickie) Palmer of Morning View, and Steve Palmer of Morning View; sisters Mary Bowen of Stanton, KY and Nancy Wireman of Leeco; grandchildren James Palmer, Jeremy Palmer, Kelly Hall, Angie Magee, Amanda Jackson, Jason Palmer, Josh Palmer, and Derrick Palmer; and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence Friday, June 7, 2013 from 9:30 until time of funeral service at 11:30. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
