Aunt Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. I was thinking Sunday night after I heard the news about Uncle Rusty that no matter how often I saw you two he always made me feel like family. He truly was one of the sweetest men I ever knew, out of all of Papa's children Uncle Rusty reminded me of him more than his other sons. He was ALWAYS smiling and no matter where is saw me he gave me a kiss and that is something I will never forget and always treasure. The Simon Kenton Basketball games will never be the same....I was so looking forward to this year because Uncle Rusty and you would get to see your Great-Nephew play for SK....I hope that you will still come because we would love to see you. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

Sandy, I was so saddened to hear of Rusty's passing. He was a great guy and a pretty darned good cousin, too. It was always fun to run into you two and catch up from time to time, wherever it might be. I know you, the children and grandchildren miss him terribly. We all will.

Rusty was my cousin and was always with Sandy since they were in School. He was so lucky to have such a beautiful wife and wonderful children. I remember when I was younger he would always have me clean the inside of his car while he washed the outside at Grandma and Grandpa Schadlers house. He would always stop by to check on his Aunt Dutch and Uncle Bud. He never stayed long but he would stop by and check in. He will truly be missed and I know our Lord has a plan for him. He will be among all of the Angels in heaven from our family to keep us safe from harm. Love and hugs to Rusty forever. Love Cindy and Duke
