Obituary of Alonzo Brewster

Alonzo "Lonnie" Brewster, age 70, of Independence, passed away, Sunday, May 12th, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was a retired Boilermaker. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to the beach, bowling, playing cards and listening to George Jones. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lynn Barnes Brewster; daughter, Yvonne (Steve) Schneider; sons, Dennis (Kim) Barnes and Darren (Shelly) Barnes; brother, Roy Brewster; grandchildren, Aaron Thurber, Haley Thurber, Michela Barnes, Willow Barnes, Trey Barnes, and Brooke Barnes; step-grandchildren, Kayla Schneider and Stephanie Schneider; and (2) step great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will be held Thursday, May16, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. A memorial service will begin at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Kenton County Animal Shelter, 1020 Mary Laidley Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
