Janet Mae (NEE Held) McGee, 65, of Erlanger passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a long time member of Morning View Methodist Church, enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and most of all her family. Janet was a dedicated worker for EMD Chemicals in Norwood, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. and Marcella (NEE Bain) Held, sisters Mildred White and Kathy Rice. Survivors include her daughter Stephanie McGee-France and son-in-law John France of Erlanger; brothers Edward (Kathy) Hollingsworth of Covington, Robert B. Held of Elsmere, and Mike (Pat) Held of Independence, KY; and one grandchild Connor McGee of Erlanger. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 5 PM until 8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013 11AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 1 Medical Village Dr. Edgewood, KY 41017.
