Donald E. Craft, age 84, of Florence, died Wednesday 4/10/13 At St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood surrounded by his family. He was a retired Colonel for the United States Army, He also worked as a IRS Agent, and Proprietor for a Tax Business in Houston, Texas. Mr. Craft was a member of the Masonic Boone - Union Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners (shriner clown), Jesters, Retired Officers Association and MENSA. His first wife Joyce Craft of Texas; stepson, John R. Halsey of Walton and brother, Carl Craft of Texas preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Bernice Craft of Florence; son, Michael Craft of Katy, TX; brother, Bill Craft of Percival, VA; 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren; stepsons, George Halsey of Norway, James Halsey (Judy) of Cincinnati; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Craddock (Charles) of Elsmere and Rose Kelley (Bob) of Walton.Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14 from 3 pm to 6 pm with Services Monday, April 15 at 10:30 am all at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home Florence, KY. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Williamstown, KY. Memorials can be made to Wounded Warriors Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675 or St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Rd Edgewood, KY 41017 .
