Obituary of Walter Sharon

Walter Sharon, age 75, of Morning View, passed away, April 7th, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a retired laborer for the Kenton County Road Department, for over 25 years, and a member of Wilmington Baptist Church. Walter enjoyed spending time outdoors and working on tractors. His wife, Juanita Sharon; sister, Barbara Hartman; and brother, Robert Valand preceded him in death. Survivors include his sisters, Betty (Ray) Hartman of Bromley, Grace Lucille (Jack) Lemming of Demossville, brother-in-law, Wendell Hartman of Demossville, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wilmington Baptist Cemetery in Fiskburg. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
