Nola Peggy Embry, age 75, of Independence, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. Her sister, Hannah Hollbrok preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Jack L. Embry; sons, Jeff Embry of Independence, KY and Greg Embry of Carrollton, KY; sisters, Patsy Jarvis of Wynona, WV, Leoty Thornson of Bremington, WA, and Robin Wade of Wynona, WV; and brother, Andrew Small of Beauty Mountain, WV.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Nuttall Cemetery in Edmond, WV.
