Obituary of Charles Gulley

Rev. Charles R. Gulley, age 80, of Independence, went on to be with the Lord, March 3, 2013, at his residence. He was a retired minister and had formerly pastored at Community Pentecostal Church (twice) and at Laurel Holiness Church, in Laurel, IN. Brother Gulley had also previously worked at Sears and Roebuck and was a skilled repairman and carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. His sister, Rita Milburn, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Lois Gill Gulley; sons, Rickey L. Gulley of Verona and Bob Gulley of Florence, AL; daughters, Kim Gulley Fariello of Burlington, Karina Botka of Mauldin, SC, and Marguerite Emily Glassman of Greenville, SC. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2103 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Community Family Church Building Fund.
