Obituary of Dorothy Simpson

Dorothy Mae Simpson, age 83, went to be with her Lord on February 11, 2013 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the church of the Nazarene. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Simpson, her son Ralph Edward Simpson, her parents and several sisters and brothers. She will be truly missed. She loved her family with all her heart and she never met a stranger. Everyone loved our mom. Survivors include her children, Ray Simpson, Jr., Michael Simpson, Diane McLaren, Debbie Reineke, Ronald Simpson, Kathy Herdman, Paula Simpson, Kenneth Simpson, Kimberly Milner, Tina Longhauser, and Tracy Sebastian; sister, Hazel Brotherton; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
