I will always and forever miss the constant communication Dave and I had at the museum via email on laptop and phone. I do not think a day passed in which we did not share at LEAST ten emails about some museum issue! It became a traditional part of my days there and I miss it and I miss Dave very much. I will also never forget how Dave worried constantly about the welfare of his staff. I should have taped some of our early morning prayer sessions in the office or downstairs café booth.

David lived as if life were comprised of one happy adventure followed by another. When he was my boss, he was always leaning forward, finding a solution to the next museum challenge. He was an inspiring man to work for and with. He is greatly missed and you, his family, are greatly loved.

Pam, Amanda, Natalie - David was one of the best men on earth. He was strong, sweet and caring. He shed many tears in my office as we prayed regularly in the mornings and often the subject of our praying was Natalie and Amanda! He loved all three of you very deeply. I am so sad he went home early but happy in knowing that God will hold you up and comfort you as you trust Him even though you may not understand.
