William "Bill" Earl Mershon, 70, of Demossville passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Ft. Thomas. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals, and most of all he cherished and lived for his granddaughters. Bill is preceded in death by his parents William H. and Annie E. Mullins Mershon and his brother Wendell Mershon. Survivors include his daughter Shonda and her husband JR Larison of Demossville; granddaughters Christina Larison of Demossville and Amanda Larison of Florence; sisters Rose Lay of Latonia, Wanda (Bob) Brummer of Utah, Betty (Gene) Arlinghaus of Edgewood, and Debbie (Tim) Finan of Florence; brother Jimmy D. (Ellen) of Loveland, OH. Visitation will be Monday, February 4, 2013 from 10Am until the time of service 12PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Memorial donations can be sent to The National Kidney Foundation 615 Elsinore Place Ste 400 Cincinnati, OH 45202-1475 or to St. Elizabeth Hospice 1 Medical Village Drive Edgewood, KY 41017.
