Obituary of Virgil Perry

Virgil Perry, Jr., age 86, of Crescent Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton, KY. He was a retired Truck Driver for Commercial of Indiana, a member of Crescent Springs Baptist Church, and a United States Marine Veteran. Mr. Perry previously served the Crescent Springs community in various roles including Judge, Mayor, and Chief of Police. His wife Doris Perry (2009) and step-son, Doug Luttrell (2005) preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughters, Donna Isaacs, Delores Perry, Theresa Borode, Lynn Parsch, and Lisa Morrison; sons, Jay Perry and James Perry; Step-sons, Kevin Luttrell and Steve Luttrell; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Interment with Veteran military honors will be at Walton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Crescent Springs Baptist Church, 627 Buttermilk Pike, Crescent Springs, KY 41017.
