Obituary of Bessie Stamper

Bessie M. Stamper, 76, of Independence, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was born April 23, 1936 in Lancaster, KY to the late Ophelia and Maggie Jones. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Cecilia Parish of Independence, enjoyed gardening and most of all being a care giver to many. She was preceded in death by her parents Isidor and Barbara Feldman, brothers George Jones and Robert Feldman, sister Janie Robertson and grandson Dillon Alexander Hyden. Survivors include her husband Clyde Stamper; daughters Kimberly (Leroy) Lovelace of Walton, Karen (Steve) Eminhizer of Independence, Kathy(Todd) Murphy of Edgewood, and Barbie Stamper of Latonia; sisters Charlotte Feldman of Danville, Diana Feldman-Smith of Cincinnati, Angela Feldman-Harkins (Frank) of LaGrange, KY; brothers Harry (Patsy) Jones of Richmond, KY, Kyle (Shirley) Jones of West Liberty, KY, David (Cindy)Feldman of Lancaster, Harold Feldman of Lancaster, Alvin Feldman of Cincinnati; grandchildren Jessica Eminhizer, Matthew Murphy, Amberly Lovelace, Joshua Eminhizer, Tara Murphy, Dalton Hyden, Pate Littrell; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 Noon Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Independence. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to St. Cecilia Church or Sisters of Notre Dame of Park Hills.
