Obituary of Claude Hurston

Claude Estil Hurston, Sr., 82, of Walton passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. He was a retired union construction worker employed at Messer Construction, a member of the local 265 union, member of Shiloh Full Gospel Church, and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the 101st Airborne Division. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Pauline King Hurston of Walton; sons Claude Estil Hurston, Jr. of Corinth, David Hurston of Walton, John Hurston of Falmouth; daughters Linda Haynes and Sherry Poole of Walton; sister Jean Carder of Indianapolis; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 2 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North Monday. Memorials are suggested to Shiloh Full Gospel Church.
