Obituary of Barbara Back

Barbara Back, age 81 of Independence, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was a retired inspector for US Playing Cards. Barbara was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Ladies of the Moose Chapter 985, VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Ryland Heights and enjoyed camping and boating. She is preceded in death by her husband Hershel Back in 2008 and daughter Delecia Ann Haddix in 1997. She is survived by sons Hershel V. Back(Theresa) and Darrel Back Sr.(Kim), both of Independence, sister Glenda Canfield of Warsaw, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be from 10-12 noon with a funeral ceremony immediately following. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery.
