Obituary of William Deatherage

William M. "Sonny" Deatherage, age 64, of Morning View, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was a former Custodian for National Cleaning Company and a member of Kenton Baptist Church. Survivors include his special friend, Barbara J. Decker; grandson, Cory Robert Fulton; sons, William Robert Deatherage and Shawn Christopher Deatherage; daughter, Tonya Marie Epperson; sisters, Dorothy Kemper, May Belle Engle, Charlotte Brown, and Elsie Fayson; brothers, Douglas Deatherage and Kevin Deatherage; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
