Obituary of Kayla Elyse Rich

Kayla Elyse Rich of Florence, age 35, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 30, 1988, and was currently employed at Orion Portfolio Solutions. If you knew Kayla, then you know that family meant everything to her. She loved to spend every Sunday watching football games at home with her loved ones, attending barbecues, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kayla was a big UK fan and even bigger fan of potatoes! They were a part of every meal and in all seriousness, she would actually dip a French fry in mashed potatoes.  More than anything, Kayla loved her family. She was a soft-spoken caring partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose subtle sarcasm and comforting presence will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia {Chevalier} Rich and her grandparents, including 2 very loving grandmas.

She is survived by her loving father, Doug Rich; daughter, Kinsley Mae; her bonus son, Maxon Greenwell; beloved soulmate, Brandon Greenwell; siblings, Roger (Sandy) Meece and Allyson Rich; niece and nephews, Cordilia, Dalton, and Taylor; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her dogs, Pebbles and Lexi; as well as other friends and relatives who will cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Kayla will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
