Uncle Merrel was my favorite uncle. His brother Homer was my dad and I remember dad was Uncle Merrel's Best Man on the day Uncle Merrel married Aunt Mary. He and Aunt Mary came to my wedding in 1976 and always checked in to see how we were all doing. He meant so much to me especially after my dad died at the age of 48 with a heart attack. He and dad looked a lot alike. I will miss him until we can meet again in Heaven.❤️
