School days. Anthony and I were great friends in high school. We sat next to each other in classes and hung out on the weekends at times. One day after school, he decided that he and a few friends would pick up my car and turn it sideways blocking the street. We had a great laugh once I got there and saw it. I just came across a Facebook memory with this picture. Anthony was such a fun fun person to be around and truly had a heart of gold.
I send my sincerest regards to the family on such a painful loss.
Anthony, Your laugh was one of my favorite things about you. Too many memories to name just one. You made an impact in my life, & I admired you as a friend, person, parent, & who you were as a human. You weren’t afraid of anything, or standing up for your beliefs. It was an honor to know you, & be apart of your company. You made such an impression, it could never be forgotten. I know you wouldn’t want people so upset or torn apart, so we Will honor you by remembering who you were & retaining the knowledge you shared. There was only one Anthony Battista, & you are a legacy to us all. Fly high and rest easy, friend. You will truly be missed!
